On Wednesday Research+Industry Spotlight featured Cameron Browne, principal investigator of Digital Ludeme Project (http://ludeme.eu/), Associate Professor at DKE.
Cameron reflected on his past positions both in industry and academia, how he worked on his interests as side projects that later became his job. He mentioned how he developed his research proposal for the next generation General Game Playing platform Ludii (https://ludii.games/). Cameron commented on the varying software practices across positions, and gave a plethora of tips! It was a greatly interesting and inspiring talk both for future software developers and researchers alike. It was also a lovely opportunity to get to know some of our professors and understand how they ended up at Maastricht!
